Oakland County Youth Educational Services
Oakland County Youth Educational Services is dedicated to empowering and supporting the whole youth by providing comprehensive resources and services, including food and clothing drives, academic tutoring, career readiness programs, and college preparation initiatives. The program forms partnerships with local school districts, the juvenile court system, churches, businesses, and other organizations. OCYES fosters a commitment to young people that promotes prosocial friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and reasserts a sense of hope in the future. Only through personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be reestablished that will give youth the commitment to follow through on a path of adulthood with a sense of pride and accomplishment. We aim to equip young people with the tools, skills, and opportunities they need to succeed academically, professionally, and personally.
Who We Are
A dedicated staff who mentors and focuses on each individual child’s needs and develops an individualized plan for each child in academics, post high school graduation assistance, and/or career readiness.
