Oakland County Youth Educational Services is a nonprofit agency providing mentoring programs for youth in the Greater Detroit area. The program will form partnerships with local school districts, postsecondary institutions, churches, state and local agencies, homeless shelters, juvenile court systems, trade schools and trade associations/organizations and other nonprofit organizations.
Oakland County Youth Educational Services’ goal is to foster a commitment to young people that will prepare students to be successful and help them to become productive citizens of society. To accomplish this goal, young people must be in a caring, inclusive learning environment that promotes their best effort and reinforces personal respect.
